1) Terms-Buyers must register to bid with Hired Hand Live. No cattle will be released without payment.
2) Purchaser's Risk-Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as it is sold.
3) Certificate of registry-When full settlement has been made, a certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser.
4) Health-All animals are eligible for intrastate shipment. Texas does not require testing for either brucellosis or TB in order to move cattle within the state. For cattle requiring these tests those cattle will be tested immediately following the sale at seller's expense. Cattle will not be guaranteed for any other disease than brucellosis or TB. Health papers will be furnished to the buyer.
5) Announcements-Should information on any animal need to be corrected or changed for any reason it will be done as quickly as possible. Buyers should check the listings before the start of the sale to check for any corrections or updates.
6) Breeding guarantee-All animals are guaranteed breeders at the time of sale. Any female is considered a breeder if she is pregnant at the time of sale and/or she has a calf at side. All calves at side are given to the buyer with no further guarantee. Exceptions to the guarantee are 1) injury or disease occurring after the sale and 2) negligence or willful misconduct on the part of the purchaser.
7) Privileges for return-All claims must be made in writing within 6 months of sale.
8) Right and Obligations-The above terms and conditions of sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller. Animals that are resold following the purchase in this sale are not covered by the breeding guarantee.
9) Possession of cattle-Cattle will be available for pickup at Carter Longhorn Ranch in Drippings Springs Texas the day after the sale unless out of state health tests need to be done.
