All buyers will be invoiced via email after the sale. If paying by check, make checks payable to the seller. If paying by credit card, a 3% processing fee will be included.
Accepted Payment Methods:
1. BIDDING: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder, with reserve. Auctioneer will settle any disputes as to bids and his decision on such matters shall be final.
2. TERMS: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the auction. No funds will be released until all checks have cleared the bank, usually within 10 days.
3. CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRY: Certificate of registration will be transferred to the purchaser. Give full name and address to the sale clerk when making payment to facilitate proper transfer of ownership.
4. HEALTH: All cattle pass the requirements to sell in this state and most other states. Interstate health papers will be furnished for each animal over six months of age. Each animal requiring TB and Bangs tests, in accordance with federal regulation, shall have been tested within 30 days of sale date. Such tests shall have made by a federally accredited laboratory. Purchasers should check with your state veterinarian regarding regulations in your state.
5. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Changes of any information published in the catalog will be announced from the auction box. Such announcements will take precedence. All catalog information and/or modifications are the responsibility of the seller.
6. GUARANTEE: All guarantees are between Buyer and Seller. All animals sold are guaranteed as represented by the owner. Females in calf, or with calf at side, are considered breeders without further guarantee. All females vet-checked with calf will be announced at sale.
7. POSSESSION: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the Buyer. Possession may not be obtained until payment is made. Buyer must make arrangements with Rocky Mountain Select Sale for care of stock until removed. Any cattle left without arrangements having been made will be removed after 24 hours and boarded at the Buyer’s expense.
8. CONTRACT: The above terms and guarantees shall constitute a contract between the Buyer and Seller of each animal sold.
