BLACK KETTLE 81 x Oakridge Blue Northern
51.5" TTT
Breeding: Cinder has been exposed in pasture to our CR S'pose So bull since April. He is a son of a Dickinson- bred bull named Reckon So. Reckon So is now owned by Rocking M Cattle in Oregon. S'pose So carries the genetics of Reckon so who weighs in over a ton and measures 87 inches tip to tip with both tips tipped. Look him up at www.rockingmcattleco.com and see his full pedigree including Cowboy Tuff Chex, Cowboy Chex, Drag Iron, JP Rio Grande and other progeny.
Cinder has provided us with many good offspring all who have been special in their own right. (We are retaining her CR Black Agate heifer as a replacement. He son, CR Piedras Negras recently broke his horn at the skull. He is still very handsome but no longer symmetrical.)
Comments: Cinder is from John Randolph's Lonesome Pine herd out of sire Black Kettle who goes back to Sitting Bull and on back to Hunts Command Respect. The Blue Northern cow is out of Wyoming Warpaint. This young lady is a genetic powerhouse, Her progeny can be seen on the Cactus Rose Longhorns website at www.cactusroselonghorns.com.
