Okay folks, this is important. This is no ordinary cow up for grabs, and here is why...
1) check her pedigree - look at the Philllips, Wright and Wichita Refuge numbered-only cattle in her line. These are the old original genuine Texas Longhorn cattle that J Frank Dobie wrote about and that are such an important part of our Texas history. The preservation of these genetics is important, in of itself.
2) This cow is the Dam of JTW OH MY (Jamakizm X JTW Twisted Sister). I have her bred back to Jamaizm, hoping to repeat that magical combination again.
Please do not discount or overlook this cow simply because she has some age on her. She has put a calf on the ground every single year and has been a tremendous mother to every one of them. And, she just happens to be carrying a gold mine in her belly!

Liability: Once an animal has been loaded on to a trailer, WEHRING RANCH TRUST is no longer liable or responsible for the health or condition of the animal, even if it is off-loaded to be reloaded.
Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder. All sales are final. No refunds. Clicking to bid is a binding contract. Successful winning bids constitute as final sales. No refunds available. Hauling is organized and funded at the owner's expense. If payment is made by credit card there is a 4% transaction fee.
Bidding Disputes: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.
Terms: Terms of the sale are cash or check to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are made payable to the Wehring Ranch Trust.
Possession: All animals must be picked up from the ranch in Yorktown no later than 5 pm, October 1st, 2023, unless private arrangements are made and agreed upon by both seller & buyer in advance.
After October 1st, a daily rate of $25 will be charged for storage, feed and care.
