GOLD MINE 1 x WS MIDNIGHT SPECIAL
BREEDING INFORMATION: Confirmed bred to
Hubbells 20 Gauge, due for a May-June 2023 calf.
COMMENTS: OCV’d. Hubbells Golden Special is a rare
package of phenotype and genotype with unique color, consistent
production genetics and excellent horn growth. Her maternal line
goes back to Jamoca, dam of the great WS Jamakizm bull. The
last time we showed her was at the 2021 HSC, where she was one
of two heifers to win the Superior Award, winning both TTT
and futurity winner in her age group. The TLBAA states, “This
innovative award showcases our most elite animals that possess the
total package we all strive for.” In 2022, she stayed home to raise
a healthy replacement heifer for us. As a yearling, she took on the
first AI attempt, bred back within 2 months the next summer and
is a top embryo producer with IVF. She’s now over 71” TTT at 30
months old, with horns rolling back and has a chance to be in the
elite group of 100” females. To see a picture of her horn direction
and more, visit www.HubbellLonghorns.net.
