COMMENTS: HC Halo’s Calypso is a March 2024 parker brown and white female with striking face markings. I purchased her from Meredith Kirkscey and her parents Tanya and Joe Mendenhall of Holy Cow Ranch Longhorns. We went and toured the ranch and I knew almost instantly she was the calf I wanted. She has consistently placed in the middle or better of her class. Calypso has many greats in her pedigree. She is sired by Machinist, a son of Macanudo, who is sired by Saddle Horn (sire of Saddle Jewel) and out of Winning Smile; His dam is Tuff Enough, which is also the dam of Stop Already. She is sired by Cowboy Tuff Chex and is out of Dragon Smile. Calypso is out of an M Arrow Ziptie daughter, who brings in Happy 9 and M Arrow Cha-Ching. Her maternal grand dam is M Arrow Fannie’s Prize, a daughter of a Day’s Feisty Fannie clone, and sired by a Maximus ST son. Calypso will sell open, ready to be bred to the bull of your choice. In the fall, I will be attending Texas State Technical College in Waco to attain an Associates in Welding and continue on to The Ocean Corporation in Houston, to complete my Commercial Dive Certification.

Terms of the sale are cash, check or by credit card to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are to be made payable to Texas Longhorn Foundation.
Accepted Payment Methods:
Sellers: Must be active members, in good standing of the TLBT.
Bidding: Each animal will be sold to the highest bidder with reserve. A winning bidder can allow an animal to “sell again” but is responsible for payment of their initial winning bid.
Bidding Disputes: The auctioneer in charge will settle any disputes as to bids, and his decision on such matters shall be final.
Add-On’s: A bidder may add an amount to any of the lots during the sale. Add-on’s may also be contributed for up to a week after the animals are sold by contacting the TLBAA office.
Terms: Terms of the sale are cash, check or by credit card to the clerk at the conclusion of the sale. Checks are to be made payable to Texas Longhorn Foundation.
Possession: Immediately after the animal is sold, it will be the sole risk and responsibility of the buyer thereof, but possession cannot be obtained by buyer until payment is made.
Certificates: A TLBAA certificate of registration will be furnished and transferred to the purchaser on each lot in the sale, excluding calves at side.
Health: Individual state requirements should be considered by bidders before purchasing. All cattle selling will be accompanied by a valid health certificate.
Breeding Guarantee: Breeder guarantees are strictly between the individual consignor and the purchaser at the sale. All calves at side are given to the purchaser free and carry no guarantee.
Notice: The purchaser must look to the seller for fulfillment of all guarantees and representations by the seller.
Announcements: All announcements from the auction block shall take precedence over information printed in the catalog.
Liability: All persons who attend the sale do so at their own risk. Sale manager and anyone connected with the sale assumes no liability, legal or otherwise, for any accidents that occur.
Contract: The above terms and guarantees shall constitute a contract between the buyer and seller of each animal sold. No cattle loaded up until after the sale. All cattle must be out by Sunday noon.
Buyer Responsibility: Prospective buyers or bidders at the sale should listen carefully to all announcements made from the auction block by the auctioneer, pedigree reader or seller on each animal that is sold. Buyers should also acquaint themselves with terms concerning the breeding status, fertility and health papers on each animal sold. It is the responsibility of the buyer to be aware of health regulations for transportation of animals into the state of their residence. By so doing, a buyer can save himself many problems and also enable himself to be a more competent and qualified buyer.
Clicking to bid is a binding contract. Successful winning bids constitute as final sales. No refunds available. Hauling is organized and funded at the owner's expense. If payment is made by credit card there is a 4% transaction fee.
